This Privacy Policy describes how BELIATSKYI_DEV ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the RainYield Cistern Lab mobile application ("App"), published on Google Play under the package name com.minitershuprytbw.rainyieldcisternlab.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information. The App does not require an account, does not connect to our servers, and does not include analytics or advertising SDKs.

Data you enter — such as roof dimensions, climate zones, demand profiles, cistern sizes, and filtration stages — is stored locally on your device using on-device storage (Room database and DataStore preferences).

2. Locally stored data

The following may be saved on your device to provide App functionality:

• Rainwater system scenarios and design notes
• Climate library selections and demand profiles
• Unit preferences (metric / imperial)
• Theme preference (system / light / dark)
• Onboarding completion status

This data is not transmitted to us or any third party. You can delete it by clearing App storage in Android Settings or by uninstalling the App.

3. Permissions

The App may request the following Android permissions:

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used optionally to deliver local dry-month harvest-balance alerts based on your saved primary system. No push servers are involved — notifications are generated entirely on your device.

The App does not request internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage access beyond its own sandbox.

4. Third-party services

RainYield Cistern Lab does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, crash-reporting tools, or social-login providers. Google Play itself may collect standard store-level data according to Google's Privacy Policy — that collection is governed by Google, not by us.

5. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

6. Data security

Because data remains on your device, its security depends on your device's lock screen, encryption, and backup settings. We recommend keeping your device updated and using a secure lock method.

7. Data retention & deletion

Local data persists until you clear App data or uninstall the App. We retain no copies on our servers because none are collected.

8. International users

The App is designed for global use. Since no personal data is collected or transferred, cross-border data transfer concerns do not apply to our processing.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
